The end of March of this year was marked by the launch conference of the Terme Lipik Project – an integrated project of development and revitalization of cultural heritage of our town, renowned for its natural beauties, cultural and historical heritage, and a centuries-old tradition of tourism, whose heritage in the War for Independence suffered severe destruction.
The Terme Lipik Project comprises three components: The Interpretation Centre Zinke Villa – the Villa of Good Water, Public Baths and Spa Garden.
In addition to the renovation of nearly the entire park in Lipik and the reconstruction and equipping of the Public Baths, where you can experience thermal therapies in a spa environment, this project also includes the reconstruction of the former Villa Zinke, or the Villa of Good Water, as it will be called in the future. By means of modern technologies, the Villa will interpret the thermal heritage of Lipik in an innovative way.
Towards the end of last week, a coordination meeting was held at the construction site of the future interpretation centre, gathering the investors’ representatives (Town of Lipik), supervision (Ivne građevina) and contractors (Presoflex gradnja). It was then concluded that the works are progressing according to the planned dynamics.
The holder of the Terme Lipik Project is the Town of Lipik, and the project partners are Lipik Spa and the Lipik Tourist Board. The total value of the project is HRK 73 million, and grants amount to almost HRK 62 million.
